Transfer of Class (TOC) is the process by which an offshore unit currently classed by another Classification Society. Quality procedures laid down by IACS describe the responsibilities of each society for the conduct of TOC surveys and the submission of plans and information.
For MODU not built to full class rules and regulations, Tasneef Maritime offers the “Acceptance into Class” (AIC) service. This enables you to bring your offshore unit into full class for operations and adds value to the asset. Tasneef Maritime can assess the offshore unit for compliance with the applicable Class Rules, Regulations and International Conventions. On satisfactory completion of the assessment the offshore unit receives formal certification and Acceptance into Class.
During the construction process our unique knowledge and experience of design and construction helps our specialist surveyors to offer you practical solutions through on-site surveys and construction monitoring to safely put your offshore unit in service.
After Delivery and when an offshore unit enter its intended services, all periodic and occasional surveys to be carried out in accordance with our rules, regulations and international conventions. Our experienced surveyors will provide guidance, advices on how to maintain your offshore unit and meet your smart goals.
Tasneef Maritime approves offshore drilling and production equipment, offshore containers, cranes, safety devices, machinery, electrical components, and material. Based on client’s request, unit certification or type approval certificate can be provided.
