On June 20,2018 the Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Classification Society (TASNEEF), Eng. Saeed Almaskari and Mr. Waleed Altamimi, the General Manager of TASNEEF Maritime visited CCS Headquarters. Mr. Mo Jianhui, the Party Secretary of CCS, Mr. Fan Qiang, CCS Vice President and leaders from relevant business departments met with the guests and the two sides had cordial exchanges on issues of mutual interests.

CCS briefed TASNEEF on its latest development, and the achievements made over the past few years in various business sectors in terms of service capability. TASNEEF highly acknowledged CCS’ technical and service capability in various areas, especially in offshore engineering and industry, and expressed its wishes to have intensive cooperation with CCS in relevant business sectors. Mr. Mo said that CCS and TASNEEF have common interests in many areas aside from classification of ships, the two sides should further consolidate the direct and effective communication, deepen understanding and work out together an effective way of cooperation, with a view to making joint efforts to implement in an all-round manner the “Road and Belt” initiative.

After the meeting, the two sides signed the cooperation agreement in the field of classification of dual class ships, which will serve as a good start for CCS and TASNEEF to strengthen mutual cooperation and produce more added value to the two nations and the industry.
